Here are the most common "root" commands:

Restart the Apache Web Server: /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl -k restart
Restart the E-mail Services: /usr/local/sbin/postfix reload
Restart the Anti-Spam Engine: /bin/kill -HUP `cat /var/run/spamd.pid`
Download the Anti-Virus Database: /usr/local/bin/freshclam
Power-Off the Appliance: /sbin/halt -p
Restart the Appliance: /sbin/reboot

Testing your SFH installation:

From an outside e-mail account, the anti-virus engine can be tested by sending the following text in the body of a message:

X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

The SFH anti-virus engine will detect this as: Eicar-Test-Signature FOUND. more info

From an outside e-mail account, the spam engine can be tested by sending the following text in the body of a message:

XJS*C4JDBQADN1.NSBN3*2IDNEN*GTUBE-STANDARD-ANTI-UBE-TEST-EMAIL*C.34X
